Responding to numerous enquiries from students wishing to practice abroad, six NY law professors conceived and founded QLTT. Our initial mandate was to create a course that would prepare students for today’s changed legal environment and secondly, to establish a convenient and easy means for American-trained attorneys to obtain an English Solicitor’s license without having to spend enormous amounts of time and money. Happily, we believe we’ve achieved both.
Now partnered with Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, we've combined talents to produce a true state-of-the-art online training course. Past delegates, in praising the program said it was “easy to navigate” and “very organized and streamlined”, enabling them to adequately prepare for the QLTT exams with “minimal interruption to their daily schedule”.
To date, seven U.S. law schools have licensed our online training program Bridge to a Global Practice to enhance their existing curricula for JD and LLM students. Some schools also plan on making the course module available within their wider legal community—to recent graduates, long-standing alumni and faculty. |
