With $1,000,000,000 in European-American trade conducted daily, American attorneys can no longer afford to limit their practices to domestic law. Today’s legal marketplace demands global attorneys with international savvy and the credentials to match. Now, thanks to QLTT, you can qualify as an English Solicitor and claim your share of this burgeoning global market.

The Qualified Lawyers’ Transfer Test (QLTT), England ’s official transfer exam for foreign attorneys, is a short, open-book test in which candidates are expected to demonstrate a basic familiarity with English statutes, cases, practice rules and the principles of common law. For the most part, the material will be familiar to American trained attorneys.

QLTT, the exclusive administrator of the QLTT test in the United States operating under license from Oxford Institute of Legal Practice will provide you with everything you need to easily pass the exam. The complete package includes:

  • Self-study manuals developed by OXILP
  • Access to our online training site containing podcasts of lectures and interactive exams
  • Five years of past exam questions with model answers
  • Special "translated" study notes
  • Option to earn 24 CLE credits*

*Delegates can earn credit by completing our online-training program that includes, inter alia, audio of the CLE held in conjunction with NYU School of Law, International Business and Tax Law, and audio and power point presentation of the Internationalization of the Legal Profession delivered by an Executive of the Law Society of England & Wales.
