Remember taking the American Bar? The masses of information to memorize, the anxiety… Well, the QLTT is nothing like it. It’s a transfer test which assumes you already have knowledge of the basic core subjects. No need to memorize the rule against perpetuity, no IRAC. It's more like writing a brief or supporting memorandum. When you pass your exams, you will be eligible to sign on to the Rolls of Solicitors and enjoy all the rights conferred upon a Solicitor of England & Wales .
Lawyers holding a primary professional qualification from the United States are required to pass tests in the following subjects (“Heads”):
Head I - Property
Three-hour written examination
- Conveyancing
- Wills & Trust
Head II - Civil Litigation

- Part B: Civil Litigation (85 marks)
